About the Role:
Gummi World is excited to welcome a passionate and skilled Human Resource Generalist to our Chandler, Arizona team! This role encompasses a wide array of HR responsibilities, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits administration, leave management, compliance, reporting, and policy implementation.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR operations, hit the ground running, have payroll experience, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. Responsibilities:
Recruitment
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify departmental needs and craft job requirements.
- Coordinate pre-employment processes such as assessments and background checks.
- Develop and implement engaging onboarding programs and new hire orientations.
Education and Training
- Ensure completion and documentation of all mandatory training, including safety, compliance, and anti-harassment programs.
- Keep abreast of HR best practices, industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in HR technology.
- Conduct onboarding and appropriate training related to Gummi World with new hires and existing staff.
Benefits Administration
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, questions, and leave requests.
- Support the HR team during the annual Open Enrollment process.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Employee Relations
- Manage disciplinary actions, terminations, and workplace investigations with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Provide guidance to leadership on complex employee matters and escalate issues when necessary.
- Cultivate a positive and respectful workplace environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in soft skills, including communication and conflict resolution.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and a calm, professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems (e.g., Rippling), and talent management tools.
- Monitor time sheets, process payroll, assist in managing employee scheduling and PTO.
